Thank you to all the Bornday Blessings, but while we have learned to look for gifts and praise on this day, through the teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, I have learned to use this day to thank and honor Almighty God for this blessing of life, my mother for her sacrifice to get me here, and my father for his role in bringing me to life. So instead of focusing on the gifts I receive, I CHOOSE to FOCUS on what I can do to honor them with my life by using my talents and gifts to make the world a better place. With that being said, I present the world with a gift- a snippet of the theme song of Growth, Progress, and Productivity that inspired #TURNUP The Movement- A movement dedicated to inspiring progress in positive endeavors. It could be your professional endeavors, education, world peace, health, fitness, etc. It's a mindset and a lifestyle. Go Further, Go Harder, Go Higher. #TURNUP!
Many people ask me why I carry my horn everywhere I go. There are many reasons, but this is one of the best ones: To connect instantly to the positive spirits of people worldwide. This is an example of how music connects people and brings Love and Unity to the World! #TURNUP the LOVE and UNITY! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGPnjrJioDY&list=UU-NG15Pi3AdSjFouu8FHE-w&index=1
Middle Georgia State College on Allah's Apprentice as an artist and musician:
“....His words are thought provoking and he truly takes his audience on a journey through a modern day appreciation for poets, and other artist from the 60’s to the present. Allah’s Apprentice is a poet in motion as he creatively articulates his personal testimonies while he encourages his audience of young people to “turn-up” the passions in their lives, whether it be through musicianship, artistry and or education. He is a must see artist!!!!!”
